White crystals forming at base of polyps

hey guys so i was wondering if anyone knew what this was… it looks like white crystal looking things that starting forming at the bases of what i believe to be red button polyps the polyps seem to be slowly starting to close.. what should i do? can it infect other corals in my tank? there are no other corals within 5 inches of the red buttons.. any info on this would be great.
