ALL NEW The Terminator II by D & D Marine Enterprises Inc. is the next generation of protein skimmers. This unit has maintained our high standard of fabrication using only the highest grade materials. The Terminator has also continued with our signature design concentrator top. The tremendous efficiency of the angular concentrator gives unparalleled control over foam consistency. The concentrator top is removed by simply spinning off the retaining ring which contains an ?o? ring seal, this ensures bind free easy operation with no need for thread seals. The one disadvantage to venturis has been the reduction of contact time. This is due to the need to push water through the venturi at a high rate. Now with the introduction of the Terminator and a closed loop venturi we have total control over both the venturi pressure and process water contact time. The unit needs only a Mag drive model 7 to drive the venturi. The method of introducing process water from the fish tank can be handled in a variety of methods. Water can be siphoned directly from the top of the tank, or it may be brought up from a sump using a small power head (remember this little pump does not need to drive the venturi. The Terminator also incorporates a self leveling adjustment design which can be hard piped if desired. The outlet connection can be turned to face any direction, it can also be raised or lowered to meet the needs of almost any installation. No matter what happens, your adjustments will remain stable. The Terminator unlike many skimmers can be fully disassembled for total cleaning including the inner core.

I had the exact same problem as the last guy. My venturi piece broke also. Then it leaked everywhere and could not get it to stop. This is a complete waste of money.

Bad Skimmer

First let me start with the fact that when I got this skimmer the venturi piece was broken. I tried to fix it with everything, but to no avail. It kept leaking when I shut it off. Then the peice broke completely draining half my tank onto the floor. i called the company and they told me that peice commonly breaks. they sent me a new one, and I was very carful when putting it on. Now the peice above it leaks, and I cannot get it to stop. Do yourself a favor. Spend the extra money. Your fish are worth it.
