Another new saltwater..

Here is a picture of the tank, I just through the rocks in there. I have some ideas for making a cool display. This is my first saltwater. The tank was a fresh water and it left something to be desired for me....

I cant get the lighting right over my new tank.. Just not enough room for the MH and the PC I had planned…. I have downgraded to cheap MH reflectors so they would fit… Hope it doesnt make a big difference…. How often do you all have to scrub red algae off the Live rock with a tooth...

Thinking of 10g inverts only tank

Ricordia breeding

I had a huge ricordia and it spread itself over 2 rocks, well one of the rocks fell tearing the ricordea in half, i put one half in a different tank and guess what….it recovered and now i have 2, so i got hold of another ricordea, snapped the rock right underneath it and tore it in half placing one...

ricordia reproduction

i was under the impression that ricordia reproduced by splitting, they may well do, however i have one that is about 4" across and moves over the rocks leaving babies in it’s wake, i started with 1 and in a year i have 8 growing…..cool stuff. Terry. Read the original here: ricordia...
