Adding Sand

ok so i have a 55 gal tank set up that i want to remove the sand from and transfer it to my new 100 gal. the 100 is up and running and has all the coral/fish/inverts that were in my 55 in it so my question is what is the best way to do this? do i add a little bit everyday so it doesnt make a sandstorm?...

I set up my BBT 12G before christmas and it cycled really good within a week, i just hauled the live rock out and added 3" of sand then replaced the rock since i want to keep a watchman goby, my question is do i need to go through the cycling process again? Terry.
