Bioballs debate

75 gallon reef with fish. 2 tangs , kleins butterfly, purple psudeo, 3 damsels, mostly softies. Tank established FO for 7 years reef for 2. Sump has bioballs and sponge block filter, never been cleaned or changed. How can I go about removing filters and biobalss to improvequality???
