Stand bigger stand Tank, a problem?

Hi,

I just got today my 60" *20" * 20" Tank with a custom made stand.
After everything where setup I saw that the stand is on each side 2.5" longer then the Aquarium. The guy who build stand say it is not a problem.

The stand have only have four legs and now the aquarium does not cover the stands legs left or right and I’m worry once I fill it with water the wood would break.

Should I be worry ?
