well the protein skimmer was a bit hard to adjust as previously mentioned but then the tube started to leak. i had to seal it with silicone and then several months later it just stopped making bubbles. nothing collects in the cup. i would recommend getting a different skimmer.

I read the other customer review about this unit. I think maybe he might have had a bad unit???

I really like this unit a lot and it producing very well for me. I am using it in the following tank. 55 Gallon Reef (salt). Using High output lighting, Magnum Hot Filter (polishing drum), Rena Filterstar 350x and a variety of power heads. So far this unit has performed very well, getting a nice output of foam daily.

I added this protein skimmer as my last pump on this tank. Been running for about 11 months without a protein skimmer. The difference is unbelievable. If you like clean tanks with little maintenance, I highly recommend a protein skimmer. Manufactory is well known and trusted in industry. Have not had a failure yet, so don't how warranty holds up.

Not Good

I bought the SeaClone 100 and it was a not a good experience. I had lots of trouble adjusting the venturi tube intake to no avail, the collection cap never filled up and it kept returning too many bubbles into the tank. I'll return it today and shop around for a better one.
