One of my fish wasn’t eating so i took a water sample to the LFS, they tested it and everything checked out: ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 20 she then tested the salinity with her refractor and it measured 0.030 so i went back home to put the snails i had just bought from another LFS in the tank after acclimation, before i did that however i measured the water salinity in the bag with my hydrometer and it read 0.025 exactly, i measured the water in my tank and it read the same…0.025, i measured the water in a bag that i had bought some shrimp in from the store that measured my water and it read 0.0215, now since my water measured the same as the water the snails came in and the store is a much bigger concern than the one i had my water tested at, i am tempted to believe my water is good at 0.025?
Terry.
having read this it sounds rather garbled, i hope you can understand it….lol
