Ok quick questiom Halamedia

Ok i have a 55g tank with PC lighting (yes i know it is outdated, shopping for another 24" 24wx4 t5 ho fixture, so i can put one on each side). I have about 75lbs of live rock, and about 50-60lbs of sand / crushed coral. The crush coral is only about 1"thick and is the base for the sandbed. Anywho, I also have a cpr aquafuge 2 (hate it, skimmer sucks). In the fuge i have a 4" sand bed with some live rock rubble. All those pesky fireworms, etc get thrown in the fuge. On the fuge is also a PC light that came with it, its all white.

Now the question.

I recently purchased a Mandrin Goby, and have spent a few years getting my tank to the level to adiquitley care for one. Now, Just to be save I ordered 1,000 copapods, and made a corner of the tank just for them (stacked frags, old shells, etc). I also orderd some Cheato, and Halamedia. Now the cheato is going into the fuge to assist in reduction of Phosphates / Nitrates…. the question i have is in regards to the Halamedia, should i put it in my DT or the fuge? Remember the fuge is narrow, and is HOB. I have a large area in my DT that could house the halamedia, and allow for proper grooming. I also have a canister filter on standby hooked up to my dt, in case i neeed it while pruning the halamedia (toxins).
