Anyway, I’ve had a very nice 14 gallon tank for about a year which started off as freshwater but after a case if ICH that killed off my fish I filled it with salt water, crushed coral, and live rock and started over. I love the salt water fish and corals. My tank has been perfect since day 1 other than a week long ammonia spike when I first started (which i suppose it to be expected)
About 2 weeks ago, I decided I wanted a bigger tank so I bought a 36 gallon bow front tank and moved everything to that tank. then I created an overflow system so that I can use my old tank as a sump.
My issue is really stupid, but I find that I really do not like the new tank. I used to look into the old tank and watch the baby starfish moving about and everything was so close to the glass and fun to watch. In the new tank, everything seems so far away. Has enyone ever felt like this and will I eventually get used to it? I keep thinking I may just downsize to a 20 gallon nano tank or something but I’m still uncertain.
thanks for taking the time to read this. i know it’s too long =(
