Need Advice.. Starting a 46gal Salt Tank

I’m starting a 46gal bow front salt tank. I need some help regarding filters.. I know wet/dry is probably the best method, but it wont fit inside the cabinet. The cabinet space is about a foot and half wide and 3 feet in height. Will a canister filter work?? What can I do?
