My Shark & Ray tank
A couple of years ago, I had a pair of specimen tanks built. In this one, I wanted to keep a shark and a couple rays. The tank is 48 X 48 X 28, made out of 1/2" acrylic. There is a 40 gallon sump/refugium below the tank. Equipment includes Lifeguard’s mechanical, chemical, sand filter & 40W UV sterilizer. 1/3HP Prime chiller. I use a Blueline 100 pump and QuietOne 9000 for the returns. It has a Deltec skimmer. For lighting, it has a 48"
