Majano Anemone’s
OK my friend Jay gave me a couple of clams a few months ago and there was a couple of majanos on the shell, lol…Thanks Jay. Well those few spread all across the tank to at least little bunches of 20 plus popping up all over. My peppermint shrimp or my copper band would not touch them. People recommend peppermints and copper bands for majanos…but they eat apstasia not majanos. I couldn’t have bought the only 100 peppermints that have no appetite for majanos. Anyway I solved the problem. I read somewhere on the net that the double saddle butterfly fish eat majanos so I went out and bought this fish. He cleaned house in a week! I do not have one Majano anywhere. Yes is not considered reef safe but I see no problems right now other then picking at some zoas which are out of control in my tank also.
Anyway I wanted to share that hoping it could help someone.
BTW Jay is still my boy.
