Lighting Issues
Hello All,
I just picked up a used Lunar Aqualight last night (36" 1-96W 10K/1-96W 03 Actinic) and I think I have a problem. I put the light on my tank (45 Tall 36x12x24) this morning and upon turning both bulbs on the tank looks extremely yellow. It looks a little more like 50/50 towardst the top of the tank but from the middle down it looks terrible. The guy I bought the light from told me the bulbs were approximately 3 months old but they look much older. I was wondering if the yellow tint is a factor of the blue bulb needing replaced or that this isnt enough light to penetrate the water to the bottom of the tank. Nonetheless I am very unhappy with the look at the tank. Also, my tank is not yet done cycling so my water parameters are less than ideal.

ph= 8.0 amm = 0 nitrite = .25 ppm nitrate = 10 ppm
