FrogSpawn in trouble?

My FrogSpawn looks like its splitting into two heads. Is this normal? The guy at my LFS said thats not how they grow, but im hopeing its just trying to split into two different heads. The frogspawn looks like its being pinched right in the middle from the bottom. Thanks for taking the time to listen.
