First tank, need advice on equipment.
Looking to set up my newly aquired 45G Hex tank. I want to do a saltwater setup so looking for advice on setup for the sump sys. I’m little tight on space since it is a Hex I only have an 2ft square (probably less) inside the cabinet for equipment. But I do have about 36" in height to work with. I figured I make a 10 or 20 Gallon sump depends on what I can fit. I’m planning to use carbon filters, live sand, macroalgae, and some sort of protein skimmer. Any thoughts on what to use? Thanks
