i have a 92gal corner tank setup as a reef tank and at the present moment i have a 36in corallife fixture on it with 10k and actinic bulb in it! i have mushroom leather ,colt coral sum zooanthids an a tortch coral……but i didnt have any luck with pulsating zena an i was hopeing it was due to my lighting not being good enough so i want metal halide……now a buddy of mine has a few fixtures laying around an will hook me up for free but he is having problems finding all of them but has come across a mercury vapor light thats 100watts with built in balast!…..so my question is …..will this work?…..or should i hold out cuz he is sure he has a metal halide 400watt laying around!? if neither of these lights is good then what is the ideal lighting fixture i should be lookin for to properly light my tank so i can get any corals i want without worry that its going to die from light quality!???……oh yeah my tank is 22.5 inches deep an thats from top of tank to top of substraight!
