alkalinity high?
I just set up my first saltwater tank a few days ago, i am using a beginners pH and Alk test kit from Red Sea. My pH is at about 8.2 and my alk is around 3.5-3.7 meq/L . On the Alk test kit it says that anything above 2.8 meq/L is High, but i heard that a good range is between 2.8 to 4. Should i be worried, or is it at a good alk level. And also, can the alk level tell you what your dKH levels are?
