We recently added a small refugium on to our 150 gllon reef tank. Its been up for about 3 months now. Plant life was doing quite successfuly in it, until we got an outbreak of red algae. I’ve been told that it is the flow in the refug. that is making the water stagnant. Im really not sure what to do....
