so my tank started its cycle today took two weeks. i was wondering how long will it take to go through the cycle. from what i read anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks. is this right. I just want to make sure im doing everything correctly.

ok so i have heard that putting a shrimp in a new tank w/ sand and lr will make it cycle faster and make the amonia spike happen quicker is this correct? do i have to use a salt water shrimp to do it?? Alright so the red turd algae is getting out of hand so I’m going to rip off all of my coral off the rocks and then clean all of the rocks… Luckly most of the coral came off real nice and is sitting on the sand bed right now.
